Add a Lead

Add a prospect and/or contact to VIA using Guidance to gather critical information needed to begin fostering the relationship.

  1. Click Prospects under People in the left navigation
  2. Click Add Lead button in the upper right

  3. The last name of the prospect AND a last name, phone number or email address for a Prospect or Contact is required
  4. Under Sales Information tab, the following fields are required to complete the Guidance
    1. Status
    2. Community
    3. Primary Sales Contact 
    4. Lead Source
    5. Inquiry Date
  5. Click Complete

Once the guidance is complete, and it passes validation, the system will create the lead's record and open it up.
